Stylized abstract Sardinian symbol on an earthy brown textured background

Sa Terra Mia

“La mia terra sa chi sono io.”

This intimate single by Limen Collective, composed by Alessandra Soro with lyrics co-written with her grandmother Anna Usai, becomes a poetic whisper in Bono’s Sardinian. It tells of how land, memory, and identity remain within us, even as we journey far.

The arrangement flows with tenderness. Voice, trumpet, flugelhorn, clarinet, bass clarinet, piano, double bass, and drums embrace each other in a circle of sound that is both chill and romantic, gently lifting the listener into a space of reflection.

“Sono andata via dalla mia terra, ma lei vive in me.” These words bloom with quiet strength, set in motion by a composition that holds space for ancestral presence and the enduring warmth of home.

This track stands alone as a tribute, not only to Sardinian roots, but to the stories that hum beneath the skin. It doesn’t ask to be understood, only remembered.
