You get 2 different takes. A rough mix to hear the tracks over your song and 2 WAV 24Bit 44.100 for each instrument (one dry and one with effects)

For acoustic Instruments:
I normally use 2 Shoeps mc5 Matched into an API preamp, plus the special Seymour Duncan MagMic of my Weissenborn guitar.
For the electric Lap Steel:
I have a great choice of amplifiers, Lap Steel and effects, I will record with an Audix i5 Dynamic Microphone into a TubeArt preamplifier, I can deliver also dry tracks on request before the order to be re-amplified in case.
I can do without, but in case you have Scores, tabs or charts it could be much faster for me. Please provide me as much information you can.

Yes, I can recreate a similar pedal steel sound but a pedal steel its a really different instrument so, I suggest to find a good pedal steel player (I can suggest to you some).
Anyway, in case I can send you something to listen in your song in the pedal steel style.
I use Protools as primary system and Logic as secondary but I’m able to work also in cubase and nuendo in case
